Senior Construction Foreman

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Construction Foreman to lead on-site operations for various projects in East London . As a Senior Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising daily construction activities, ensuring the efficient execution of work by your team, and upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity. This role requires hands-on experience, strong leadership qualities, and a deep understanding of construction processes and techniques.

You will play a vital role in the successful completion of projects in the Eastern Cape .

• Supervise and direct the daily activities of construction crews, including laborers, skilled trades, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed according to project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures on the job site, conducting daily safety briefings.
• Manage the efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address site issues and ensure project progress.
• Inspect work in progress and completed work to ensure it meets required standards.
• Maintain daily progress reports and site records, including timekeeping and material usage.

• Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a similar supervisory role on construction sites.
• Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in construction.
• Experience working in the East London area or similar construction environments is advantageous.
• Trade qualification or relevant certification is a plus.
