Remedy Education are looking for a strong and experienced Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in East London
.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident TA with solid experience supporting pupils with SEN who is looking for a rewarding role within a primary school setting.
The role will involve:- Providing 1:1 and small-group support to primary-aged pupils
- Supporting children with a range of SEN and additional needs
- Helping pupils access the curriculum and classroom activities
- Supporting communication, emotional regulation and independence
- Managing behaviour and encouraging positive engagement
- Delivering interventions and targeted learning support
- Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support team
- Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Strong experience working as a TA within a primary school
- Good experience supporting children with SEN
- A calm, patient and consistent approach
- The ability to adapt support to individual pupils
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
