About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent Well Integrity Engineer to join their team in East London . This critical role focuses on ensuring the safety, reliability, and environmental compliance of all wells throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and implementing well integrity management systems, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing maintenance and repair strategies. Your expertise will be vital in preventing well-related incidents and maintaining operational continuity, safeguarding both assets and the environment.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the well integrity management system (WIMS).
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential well integrity failures.
• Plan and supervise well integrity testing, inspection, and repair operations.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze well integrity data and performance, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with drilling, completions, and production engineers on well design and operational planning.

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in well integrity, completions, or production engineering.
• Strong understanding of well construction , downhole equipment, and wellbore fluids.
• Proficiency with well integrity software and data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards (e.g., API, IOGP) and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a strong focus on safety.
