About the Role
Our client, a key player in the automotive industry, is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to join their dynamic team in East London. This critical role involves the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will be instrumental in driving improvements on the production floor, working with advanced technologies and methodologies. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement optimized manufacturing processes for automotive components and assemblies.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement and reduce waste.
- Develop and maintain process documentation , work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and production, to ensure successful product launches and process improvements.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Monitor production performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency and cost reduction.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Process Engineer , preferably within the automotive manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in automotive manufacturing processes and systems.
- Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and SPC methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software and experience with process simulation tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
