Subsea Engineer - Project Execution

About the Role

Our client, a leader in offshore Oil & Gas development, is seeking a skilled Subsea Engineer to join their project execution team in Queenstown . This role focuses on the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of subsea production systems. You will manage technical aspects of subsea projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of subsea hardware, flow assurance, and installation methodologies, contributing to the successful development of complex offshore projects.

• Lead the technical execution of subsea projects, including design review, equipment selection, and fabrication oversight.
• Develop and manage subsea installation procedures and support marine operations.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure technical requirements are met.
• Perform technical analysis related to subsea equipment, pipelines, and structures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Contribute to the planning and execution of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for subsea facilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Marine, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in subsea engineering within the offshore Oil & Gas industry.
• Strong understanding of subsea production systems, including trees, manifolds, and control systems.
• Experience with flow assurance analysis and pipeline engineering is beneficial.
• Familiarity with marine operations and installation challenges.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills.
