Our client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Automotive Electrical Engineer to join their team in Queenstown . This role is vital for the design, development, and integration of electrical systems and components in vehicles. You will work on everything from power distribution and control modules to lighting and sensor integration, ensuring all electrical functionalities meet stringent performance and safety standards.

- Design and develop automotive electrical systems, including wiring harnesses, circuit boards, and control units.
- Perform circuit analysis, simulations, and schematic capture using relevant engineering software.
- Integrate electrical components and systems into vehicle architectures, ensuring compatibility and performance.
- Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to verify functionality, reliability, and compliance with standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective design modifications.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in automotive electrical engineering or embedded systems design.
- Proficiency in electrical design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle) and simulation software (e.g., SPICE).
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN) and diagnostic procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive power electronics, sensors, and actuators.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
