About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Asset Integrity Manager to lead their expanding Renewables Division from their offices in Queenstown. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing robust asset integrity strategies for wind, solar, and other renewable energy assets, ensuring their safety, reliability, and optimal performance throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing risk, compliance, and maintenance programs to maximize asset value and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in asset management, maintenance engineering, and a keen interest in the growing renewable energy sector, contributing to a sustainable future within the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive asset integrity management (AIM) strategies for renewable energy assets (wind turbines, solar farms, etc.).
  • Oversee risk-based inspection (RBI) programs, maintenance planning, and execution to ensure asset reliability and safety.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Manage budgets for asset integrity activities, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical guidance and fostering professional development.
  • Analyze asset performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency and longevity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in asset integrity management, maintenance, or reliability engineering, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Proven experience with risk-based methodologies, inspection techniques, and maintenance strategies.
  • Strong understanding of the operational and maintenance challenges specific to renewable energy assets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to renewable energy asset management.
