- Certificate or qualification in Drafting and design.
NQF 4 or NQF 5 Draughting Qualification. - AutoCAD Certification.
- 2 to 3 years' experience in aluminium and glass manufacturing.
- Knowledge of AAAMSA and SAGGA standards.
- Bizman software experience.
- Excel skills.
- CAD skills.
- Strong Excel and estimating skills.
- Preparing manufacturing drawings and accurately estimate on aluminium windows, doors, shopfronts etc.
- Prepare quotes and drawings for clients.
- After client sign off put jobs into production.
- Drafting and Design:
Produce technical shop drawings, elevation designs, and cutting lists using computer software like AutoCAD and Bizman. - Estimating and Costing:
Calculate material quantities (glass, aluminium profiles, hardware) and prepare accurate tenders, bills of quantities (BOQs). - Project Support:
Liaise with architects, clients, and site managers, take on-site measurements, and assist with project tracking through to installation
