Subsea Engineer

Our client is seeking a specialized Subsea Engineer to join their team supporting offshore operations near East London . This role is integral to the design, installation, and maintenance of subsea systems essential for Oil & Gas production. You will work on complex projects involving subsea production equipment, pipelines, and structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering with specific expertise in subsea technologies and challenges.

• Design and specify subsea equipment, including trees, manifolds, and tie‑ins.
• Develop installation procedures and oversee the execution of subsea construction activities.
• Perform analysis related to pipeline stress, stability, and flow assurance.
• Manage subsea component fabrication, testing, and qualification.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including project managers, geologists, and clients.
• Troubleshoot and support the maintenance and repair of existing subsea infrastructure.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in subsea engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience with subsea production systems, hardware, and installation methodologies.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., API, DNV).
• Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software.
