About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic Asset Manager to oversee their diverse power infrastructure portfolio in the East London area. This senior position involves developing and executing asset management strategies to maximize value, ensure optimal performance, and manage risk across the lifecycle of their assets. You will be responsible for performance monitoring, maintenance planning, capital investment decisions, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate possesses strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of power generation and distribution assets, and proven leadership skills to drive asset performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement long-term asset management strategies for power infrastructure.
  • Monitor asset performance, identify areas for improvement, and manage maintenance programs.
  • Oversee capital expenditure planning and execution for asset upgrades and replacements.
  • Conduct financial analysis and economic evaluations for asset investment decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and operational teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in asset management, preferably within the energy or utilities sector.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure assets and performance optimization .
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, risk management, and investment appraisal techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
