We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Oncologist Pharmacist to join our team in East London. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of chemotherapy treatments to our patients. The successful candidate will work closely with our oncology team to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care.
What will your responsibilities be:
As a Locum Oncologist Pharmacist, you will be responsible for screening chemotherapy prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with treatment protocols. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care, provide expert advice on oncology medications, and contribute to the development and implementation of treatment plans. You will also be involved in patient counseling, monitoring for adverse drug reactions, and maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC)
- Experience in oncology pharmacy
- Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols and medications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
