Systems Implementation Project Manager - ERP, Software & Technology Rollout

Our client, a leading property development and real estate group based in East London, Eastern Cape, is seeking an experienced Systems Implementation Project Manager to lead enterprise system rollouts, ERP implementation, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation.
This role is ideal for a results-driven IT project professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a significant impact within a growing organisation in the Eastern Cape region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems implementation, ERP deployment, and enterprise software rollout projects across the East London operations.
• Translate business requirements into clear project delivery plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Operations, Projects, and R&D teams based in the Eastern Cape to ensure seamless system integration.
• Manage risks, issues, project reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee proof of concept (POC) builds, pilot rollouts, system testing, and UAT.
• Drive effective change management, user training, and digital adoption across all East London business units.
• Continuously refine project frameworks, methodologies, and IT governance processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar (or equivalent experience).
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid delivery certification beneficial.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in ERP implementation, systems integration, or enterprise software project management.
• Proven track record managing complex IT and digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and SDLC methodologies.
• Proficiency with project tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Smart Sheets, or similar.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, budgeting, and delivery skills.
