Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Information Security Compliance Analyst to join their team in East London . This role is vital for ensuring that the organization adheres to all relevant information security regulations, standards, and best practices. You will be responsible for assessing compliance, identifying gaps, and working with various departments to implement necessary controls and policies. This position requires a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and a commitment to maintaining a compliant and secure operational environment.

• Analyze and interpret information security regulations, standards, and frameworks (e.g., POPIA, ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Conduct compliance assessments and audits to identify areas of non-compliance.
• Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified compliance gaps.
• Maintain documentation related to compliance efforts, policies, and procedures.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies regarding compliance matters.
• Assist in security awareness training programs focused on compliance requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in information security compliance, risk management, or auditing.
• Thorough understanding of data privacy regulations and cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience with compliance assessment tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
