Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to lead technology-driven projects for their operations based in East London . This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful implementation of IT solutions, from software development to system upgrades and infrastructure enhancements. You will manage project life cycles, coordinate with technical teams and business stakeholders, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specifications.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong IT background combined with robust project management acumen in a hybrid work setting.
- Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, technical requirements, and deliverables in collaboration with IT and business leaders.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional IT project teams, ensuring clear communication and task accountability.
- Oversee IT project budgets, track expenditures, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project risks.
- Ensure successful deployment of IT solutions and provide post-implementation support coordination.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing IT projects, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; PMP or ITIL certification is a plus.
- Proven experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies in IT environments.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex IT systems.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
