Lab Technician

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or a related scientific field.
• Relevant laboratory training within a manufacturing or FMCG environment (soap, detergent, or cosmetics preferred).
• Working knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and basic quality systems.

• 3–5 years’ experience in a production or quality control laboratory within a chemical or manufacturing environment.
• Practical experience with routine chemical analysis, raw material testing, in-process checks, and finished product evaluation.
• Ability to accurately prepare formulations, samples, and standard solutions.
• Competence in operating basic laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate record-keeping and report writing.
• Understanding of safety, hygiene, and environmental requirements in a factory setting.
• Ability to work independently while supporting production and quality teams.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under production pressure.
