We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 8 years of professional experience to enhance the development and optimisation of our core platforms. Our firm specialises in high-availability systems, specifically closed-loop payment ecosystems, loyalty programmes, and enterprise-grade time and attendance solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of complex software components and industry infrastructure best practices.

Candidates must demonstrate mastery in the following areas:

• Core Development: C#, .NET 8/9/10, and ASP.NET Core.
• Frontend Frameworks: Experience with modern Web and Mobile front end frameworks (Advantageous)
• Data Architecture:
  Microsoft Fabric (One Lake) and advanced SQL optimisation. (Advantageous)
• Distributed Systems: Microservices architecture experience - REST/gRPC
• Infrastructure: Container orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and Azure Cloud environments.
• Business Intelligence: Implementation and management of Apache Superset (or equivalent visualisation frameworks).

• System Architecture: Design and maintain scalable microservices that handle high-concurrency financial transactions and workforce data.
• Data Engineering: Oversee the transition of legacy data structures into a unified One Lake/Fabric architecture to support real-time analytics. (Advantageous)
• Security & Compliance: Ensure all payment and loyalty systems adhere to industry-standard security protocols and relevant compliance regulations.
• Dev Ops Oversight: Assist in managing deployment pipelines and containerised environments to ensure system stability and minimal downtime.
• Technical Leadership: Provide high-level code reviews, documentation, and architectural guidance to the broader development team in collaboration with development consultants.

• BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related tertiary qualification.
• 8+ years of verifiable experience in software engineering.
• Proven track record in building, maintaining and modern transactional systems.
• Understanding of the South African fintech and labour regulatory landscape is advantageous.
• Must be based in, or willing to relocate to,
  East London for a hybrid office-based role.
