Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dedicated team in East London . This role is vital for ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability in our software products. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, a passion for quality, and the ability to contribute to process improvements and mentoring junior QA team members within a fast-paced development cycle.

• Develop and implement detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Execute manual and automated tests, identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
• Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning meetings.
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance on testing techniques and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing roles.
• Proven experience in designing and executing both manual and automated testing .
• Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
