About the Role
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join their dedicated QA team in East London . You will be instrumental in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our client's software products through rigorous testing methodologies. This role involves developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and collaborating closely with the development team to resolve issues.

- Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new and existing features.
- Execute manual and automated tests across various platforms and environments.
- Identify, document, and track software defects with detailed reports in bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira ).
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and troubleshoot issues.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Advocate for quality best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven experience in designing and executing test cases for web and/or mobile applications.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Postman).
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles and testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
