- Develop, implement, and debug game features and systems using C++ and game engines like Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Collaborate with game designers to translate game mechanics and concepts into functional code.
- Optimize game performance for various hardware configurations, ensuring smooth frame rates and efficient resource usage.
- Work on networking, AI, physics, or graphics systems depending on project needs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining a high standard of code quality.
- Test and refine game elements to ensure a fun and polished player experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in game development.
- Proficiency in C++ and experience with major game engines such as Unreal Engine or Unity.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Experience with debugging tools and performance profiling.
- Passion for video games and a strong understanding of game design principles.
