About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Mobile Application Developer with expertise in both iOS and Android development to join their dynamic team in East London. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality, user-centric mobile applications. This role requires a strong understanding of mobile development best practices, performance optimization, and the ability to work across different platforms. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver innovative mobile experiences that meet user needs and business objectives.
Your technical leadership will be crucial in guiding the mobile development roadmap.
- Design, develop, and maintain native iOS and Android applications.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Swift/Objective-C for iOS and Kotlin/Java for Android.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
- Optimize mobile applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services and APIs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technology trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mobile application development.
- Proven experience developing applications for both iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and platform-specific guidelines.
- Experience with mobile development tools, SDKs, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
