Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and sole proprietors.
- Prepare financial statements and perform general accounting functions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide expert tax advice and planning to help clients minimize liabilities and maximize financial performance.
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial guidance.
- Stay current with federal and state tax laws, ensuring all filings are compliant and up‑to‑date.
- Collaborate with internal team members to support bookkeeping, payroll, and accounting operations.
- Deliver exceptional client service, building long‑term professional relationships built on trust and reliability.
- Active CPA or EA license (required).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in tax preparation and financial statement preparation.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, accounting principles, and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as Quick Books or Xero (experience preferred).
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a professional, fast‑paced office environment.
