Job DescriptionThe Role: Meadow Brook School is seeking a nurturing and responsible individual that is flexible in understanding that his/her duties may change based on the needs of the building. Responsibilities include assisting students, individually or in groups, to reinforce, support and implement learning concepts and behavior plans as directed by the teacher. Duties may also include data collection and assisting students with activities of daily living, including toileting.
Salary $21.26/hr additional stipends will be paid for college degrees, positions that require personal care assistance and ABA positions.
- Possess a High School Diploma or GED, AND
- An Associate of Arts or Science Degree or higher, OR
- 48 undergraduate college credits, OR
- Meet or exceed the State mandated score on the Para Pro Assessment or Work Keys Assessment within 90 days of employment

Meadow Brook School serves East Longmeadow students in preschool through second grade in a nurturing child centered environment. At Meadow Brook, we feel that reaching children where they are functioning-academically, socially, emotionally, and physically-is critical to their development. We offer a challenging curriculum that is aligned with the Massachusetts State Frameworks as well special subjects such as Physical Education, Art, Music, Computer Lab, and Library.
We also have a comprehensive special education program as well as gifted and talented education.
