The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient operations and the overall management and direction of the day‑to‑day functions of the residence in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations to assure that the highest degree of quality care and service is provided to our residents. He/she will hire, evaluate, coordinate, monitor performance, schedule and supervise staff in accordance with LCB Senior Living policy.
The Executive Director is also responsible for achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy, representing the residence to the community, and creating and maintaining a culture that supports quality service and high customer satisfaction for the residents and promotes a culture of positive, fully engaged associates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community.As a department head, actively grow community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents rég family members and professionals.Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the overall management of the Residence. Delegate administrative authority and responsibility for day‑to‑day operations to personnel when absent.Ensure open and timely communication with associates, residents, families and LCB Senior Living regarding community operations and programs.Responsible for compliance with LCB Senior Living policies and procedures, and with laws, regulations and legal requirements governing the operation of the community.Develop and implement a quality improvement process, strategic planning process and environmental safety program to maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents and guests.Manage a community outreach plan and liaison network with industry partners to identify and partner with local service resources.Ensure associates receive the necessary resources to carry out their duties efficiently and economically.Assure implementation of all operating and financial controls required under community and LCB Senior Living policy.Ensure proper planning and implementation of staff orientation and training.Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with all departments to eliminate or correct problem areas and improve services overall.Ensure completion inalám de timely associate reviews.Ensure fair counseling, retraining and corrective action per community and LCB Senior Living policies.Review, document and act upon incident/accident reports, and implement changes through proper channels (i.e., Safety Committee, etc.) to minimize future issues. Communicate with LCB Senior Living and state compliance reporting.Prepare an annual operating budget in conjunction with LCB Senior Living and communicate resource requirements for community programs and activities.Review resident complaints and grievances and assure appropriate actions are taken, Nalert discussing with residents and families as appropriate.Oversee all record‑keeping functions within the facility, including records required to disclose fully the services provided.Ensure staffing, schedules (if applicable) and backup coverage for staff are met at all times.Conduct and/or attend required in‑service training and orientation per state regulation.Guide daily operation of the residence and provide direction and leadership to Department Managers for their success.
Participate in the Manager‑on‑Duty Program.Other duties as requested.LCB's
