Lead Veterinarian – East Longmeadow, Massachusetts

A progressive, full-service veterinary hospital in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts is seeking an experienced and motivated Veterinarian to step into a Medical Director role. This is a prime opportunity for a veterinarian ready to combine hands‑on clinical work with medical leadership—while guiding a talented team in a supportive, modern environment.

The incoming doctor will oversee medical standards, mentor fellow veterinarians, and shape clinical protocols while maintaining an active caseload. With a strong, well‑trained support team and advanced diagnostic and surgical tools, this hospital empowers its doctors to practice with autonomy and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic care to patients
  • Lead and mentor the veterinary team while ensuring best practices in patient care
  • Develop, implement, and maintain medical protocols
  • Support client communication and education
  • Promote a collaborative, positive, and growth-focused team culture
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) from an accredited institution
  • Eligible for or holding a current Massachusetts veterinary license
  • Proven leadership or mentorship experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, diagnostic, and surgical skills
