Corporate Site Security Officer

Overview

Corporate Site Security Officer – Onsite at East Longmeadow, MA, United States. This is a per-diem position with weekly hours not exceeding 19 hours and assigned on an as-needed basis. Shifts are flexible, covering First, Second, and Third Shift, including weekends.

• Direct visitors and control site access across multiple entry posts.
• Monitor CCTV, security and fire suppression systems.
• Patrol and secure areas inside and outside the facility.
• Document security and safety-related incidents.
• Administer first aid and act as a first responder to crisis situations when needed.
• Respond quickly on foot to locations throughout the facility.
• Assist with CTPAT compliance if applicable.

• High School Degree or higher.
• Some security / law enforcement / military related skills required.
• CPR / AED / First Aid Training.
• C-TPAT and/or Regulatory Compliance experience is a plus.
• Physical fitness is essential; proficiency in a martial art or other defensive skill is desirable.
• Effective oral and written communication, issue resolution, negotiation, collaboration, and teamwork; ability to partner with leadership to identify and resolve problems.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen.
• Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing.
