Assistant Finance Officer

Your new company Hays are delighted to Support a respected organisation in the recruitment of an Assistant Finance Officer to join their finance team on an initial 6-month temporary

Contract, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking a varied role within a supportive environment, contributing to the day-to-day operations of abusy finance function. Your new role Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Daily posting and processing of invoices Managing payment runs Bank reconciliations Accruals and prepayments Journal postings Handling supplier queries Accounts payable and accounts receivable duties Supporting debtors and creditors processes Assisting with general finance administration and reporting requirements. What you'll need to succeed To be successful inthis role, you will have:
Previous experience working within a finance or accounts function Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliations Experience processing journals, accruals and prepayments Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team
