Your Role and Responsibilities Safeguard and champion the rights, health, and well being of children and young people within a secure residential setting. Collaborate on dynamic risk assessments and co-design tailored care plans that foster emotional resilience and personal growth. Deliver high-quality group living supervision, managing daily routines, physical health needs, and medication protocols with clinical precision.

Facilitate structured individual and group programs addressing complex behavioural challenges and preparing young people for independent living. Produce robust, clear documentation and comprehensive reports while maintaining absolute adherence to confidentiality standards. Participate in a balanced, year-round rotational shift system, including occasional sleep-in duties, to guarantee seamless 24/7 care. What we need from you

Qualifications:

Possession of, or active progression toward, an HNC in Social Care and/or an SVQ Level 3 in Care (Caring for Children and Young People). Candidates holding a Social Work Degree are highly advantageous.

Experience:

Demonstrated background within social care, with a distinct emphasis on residential or secure childcare environments. Registrations:
Active registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and current membership in the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme (or eligibility to complete registration immediately). Key Attributes:
