Sigma Health Rehab is Looking for a full-time/part-time talented Respiratory Therapist (RT) To work in a Skilled Nursing facility (SNF).

The ideal Candidate should have a passion for working with the geriatric population, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and possess the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents in improving their experiences.

Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Responsibilities include:
  • Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non-respiratory illness.
  • Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment.
  • Complete a variety of bedside treatments.
  • Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
  • Responsible for completing daily, weekly, and monthly documentation.
  • Attend applicable IDT meetings.
  • Experience with tracheotomy
  • Experience is a long-term care setting.
  • Follow the facility's procedure and protocol.
  • Completes tracking, auditing, and caseload management.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Oxygen weaning therapy.

Omniflow – Biofeedback

Group respiratory therapy

Standardized respiratory testing.

Aerosol therapy

IPPB therapy

Chest physiotherapy

Deep breathing and coughing

Bronchial hygiene therapy

PEP therapy

Postal Drainage

Tracheostomy care

Spirometry Bedside Testing

CPAP/BIPAP

High-Flow Oxygen

Pulmonary Program

Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation

Respiratory Therapist (RT)

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
  • Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.
