SAP MM​/Procurement Functional Consultant

TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading SAP and supply chain consulting organization to hire an SAP MM / Procurement Functional Consultant
. This role will support mission-critical SAP S/4

HANA environments, providing hands‑on configuration, procurement process support, and system optimization within a highly collaborative, client‑facing consulting environment.

• Configure and support SAP MM and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes within SAP S/4
  
  HANA.

• Lead configuration changes, impact assessments, and system enhancements.

• Support purchasing, requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, and procurement workflows.

• Facilitate Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and support configuration baseline management activities.

• Review engineering and business change requests and assess impacts to system configurations.

• Troubleshoot posting errors, data discrepancies, and procurement‑related system issues.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.

• Partner with ABAP developers and cross‑functional teams to resolve complex issues.

• Develop functional specifications, process documentation, and configuration documentation.

• Support audit readiness, compliance initiatives, and continuous process improvements.

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.

• 4+ years of hands‑on SAP MM functional configuration experience; 6-10 years preferred.

• Proven experience working within an SAP S/4
  
  HANA environment.

• Strong knowledge of Purchasing, Requisition s, Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, and Procure‑to‑Pay processes.

• Experience performing SAP configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and support activities.

• Strong business process analysis and requirements gathering skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with clients and stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced consulting environment.

• Experience supporting federal, defense, logistics, or supply chain organizations.

• Experience with SAP modernization or transformation initiatives.

• Background working in client‑facing consulting roles.

• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and configuration management activities.
