Job Description

As a Security Officer - Factory Patrol Driver in East Moline, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as manufacturing & industrial. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help create a secure environment by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence will deter security‑related incidents and support a positive onsite experience through excellent customer service and communication.

This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license, providing you the chance to join a team that values integrity and innovation.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including interior and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activities.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors as needed.
  • Document incidents and daily activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Support access control procedures and monitor entry points to help deter unauthorized access.
Minimum Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
