The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule  YEAR-ROUND  .
As a  Part-Time Student  for  John Deere's Ecommerce team  located in  Chicago, IL  , you will:
In this role, you will design, build and deliver software solutions following industry standards and practices.
Learn and leverage cutting edge technologies and technical practices
Create experiences for the customers at the core
Developing industry-leading ecommerce for the customer experiences
Improve your Dev Ops and engineering skills
This position is not available to students on immigration visas
Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering;
Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university
Frontend development exposure in:
React.js, Type Script / JavaScript, HTML5 / CSS3 and Micro Frontends (Module Federation preferred)
Backend development exposure using:
Java / Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, Database - Postgres
Graduation date of Spring 2027 or later
Available to work approximately 10-20 hours/week onsite during the academic year
Available to work approximately 30-40 hours/week onsite during the summer
