- Build trusting relationships with scholars, providing culturally relevant support and fostering a strong sense of belonging within College Track.
- Work alongside school staff and partner organizations to create a holistic support network for each scholar, ensuring aligned goals and communication.
- Manage a diverse caseload of approximately 120 high school scholars, ensuring each student is equipped with the support they need to matriculate to college and earn a bachelor’s degree.
- Have direct experience working with first‑generation college‑bound students.
- Have facilitation skills and the ability to use culturally responsive and trauma‑informed approaches.
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a wide range of individuals, including students, caregivers, and teachers.
- Have experience tracking and analyzing data to refine strategies and strengthen scholar support.
- You are passionate about youth development and enjoy helping students set and achieve goals.
- You thrive in an engaging, student‑centered environment and are excited to support students on their journey to college.
- You believe in data‑driven decision‑making and can use data to improve college counseling strategies.
- You’re eager to work in‑person with students, building connections and supporting scholar engagement and development.
- You are excited about working 100% in person with our scholars; you would be expected in the office 10:00‑6:00 Monday‑Friday.
This position is full‑time, non‑exempt. The compensation range in East Palo Alto is $69,000‑$83,000 per year, with an expected offer between $72,500 and $75,999 depending on experience.
