Key job responsibilities
- Build systems that benefit Analytics customers worldwide and take ownership of product vision.
- Define new features and architecture, distilling complex requirements into meaningful projects.
- Own and code end‑to‑end deliverables from design, development, deployment, monitoring, to operations.
- Lead engineers on substantial projects and mentor and hire team members.
About the team
AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides foundational services such as S3, EC2, and new product innovations. As part of UC, you will support development of Compute, Database, Storage, and other services, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions for customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
