We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing, fast‑paced mental health team. In this role you will make a significant impact on patients’ lives while working in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, including detailed patient histories and mental status examinations.
• Prescribe medications and manage medication regimens for psychiatric patients, ensuring appropriate follow‑up and care.
• Provide follow‑up care in 15‑minute appointments, addressing any medication adjustments, side effects, and progress.
• Handle 30‑minute transfer appointments, facilitating smooth transitions of care for patients referred to our practice.
• Conduct comprehensive 45‑minute intake appointments, gathering essential patient information for effective treatment planning.
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and medical support staff, to provide optimal patient care.
• Keep accurate and up‑to‑date patient records in accordance with practice policies and HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with the medical team to adjust treatment plans as necessary and provide ongoing patient support.

Qualifications:
Required

• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum of 23 years of experience in psychiatric care or related field, including prescription writing.
• Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and treat psychiatric conditions.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence‑based practices.
• Comfortable working in a busy, high‑volume environment with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills with a genuine desire to work with diverse patient populations.

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient psychiatric care or community mental health settings.
• Familiarity with eClinical
