Job Brief

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this client-facing role, you will serve as the technical representative on projects, collaborating with customers to design custom low- and medium-voltage switch gear and control solutions that meet their technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret project write-ups, customer specifications, drawings, and related documentation.
• Research and prepare Bills of Material (BOM).
• Coordinate with purchasing teams and suppliers to specify, review, and approve components and assemblies.
• Develop AC/DC schematics, component layouts, wiring diagrams, and one-line diagrams for submittals, construction drawings, and as-built documents.
• Deliver complete project designs that align with customer requirements.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable standards, including NFPA, NEC, UL891, UL1558, UL Medium Voltage, and UL508A
  .
• Work closely with production, testing, and field service teams to support design decisions throughout project stages.
• Collaborate with programmers to select hardware and support integration activities.
• Research emerging technologies and evaluate their applicability to ongoing and future projects.
• Create and maintain standard design processes and documentation.
• Provide technical assistance to manufacturing and test teams as needed.
• Conduct design reviews to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Entry-level position; internship experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong understanding of electrical circuit design principles.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Solid Works
  .
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
  
  National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant standards.
• Basic knowledge of power systems analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Exposure to switch gear design or implementation (preferred).
• Basic understanding of project management concepts.
