GENERAL MEDICINE RNS- PERMANENT POSITIONS!

This role protects, promotes, and restores health and wellness through practice at the highest level of Registered Nurse licensure. The nurse collaborates with providers and the multidisciplinary care team to support coordinated patient care across the continuum. Responsibilities include assessing and supporting physical symptoms, providing emotional and psychological support, mentoring team members, supporting best practices, and maintaining professionalism at all times.

• Current RN licensure in Illinois

• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS (required before start date)

• BSN

• Experience in a healthcare environment

• Basic proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft applications

• Practice at the highest level of licensure, delivering safe, competent, quality nursing care in alignment with state standards and evidence-based practice

• Provide leadership in the delivery of nursing care through assessment, planning, and collaboration

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and protect patient confidentiality

• Function autonomously as a key part of the care team while advocating for patient needs

• Create a compassionate, service-focused environment supporting patients and caregivers

• Support a learning atmosphere through education, mentoring, and orientation

• Participate in quality and process improvement initiatives

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and follow all policies and protocols

• Remain current on evidence-based practice and regulatory standards

• Advocate for patients and families to support effective, value-driven care

• Frequent walking and movement through clinical areas

• Ability to sit/stand for extended periods

• Frequent lifting/moving up to 35 lbs

• Requires coordination, quick math skills, and strong communication

• Work may involve emotional stress and exposure to clinical hazards

• Up to $6,000 for in-state moves and up to $12,000 for out-of-state moves
 o Pre-approval required from leadership

• Candidates must be relocating more than 50 miles from their current residence and within 50 miles of the new primary work location
 o Exceptions require additional approval

• $15,000 with a 1-year commitment (open to new grads and experienced nurses)
