We’re in search of a Cyber Security Analyst in East Peoria, IL.

Title:

Cyber Security Analyst

Location:

East Peoria, IL

Onsite or Remote:
Hybrid

Pay rate: $26 to $31 on W2

- Those with Master’s Degrees or P.H.D.’s are likely overqualified

Responsibilities

- Review and assessment of architectural artifacts (e.g. architecture diagrams) for compliance to security policy and identification of risks and potential areas of improvement.

- Collaborate with peer Cybersecurity professional in the assessment of IT solution for security posture.

- Liaison between Cybersecurity organization and the rest of company to communicate, embed, and demonstrate compliance to Cybersecurity requirements.

Work environment:

- Hybrid work solution – daily standups (required) and weekly or biweekly check ins. Office environment exclusively

Education & Experience Required
:

- Associates degree required in IT or related field, Bachelor's degree preferred. 0-2 years experience required.

- Will consider candidate’s with H.S. Diploma or GED plus 2+ years related experience

Technical Skills

(Required)

- Familiarity or knowledge of overall cyber security

- Security knowledge and school/university experience with MS Azure and AWS (2 years of experience)

- Knowledge of exp documenting or designing large system architecture

- High level communication skills

– updating team members and stakeholders on a consistent basis.

- Cloud Security best practices (e.g. Cloud Security Alliance’ CCM – Cloud Controls Matrix) - General cybersecurity expertise aligned to industry standards including, but not limited to; ISO
27001/2 and NIST, Microsoft Visio.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $26 to $31
