Assistant Manager – Quality Fresca LLC (Moe’s Southwest Grill)
Location:
East Peoria, IL (6885) – 113 Radio City Dr (Peoria, IL).
Job Type: Hourly/Part-Time
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Reporting Relationship:
The Assistant Manager reports to the General Manager.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure a high quality operation, maintain controls, manage team members, advocate a team environment, manage personal development.
- Provide team members, managers, and guests with a positive experience and atmosphere.
- Ensure prompt, friendly service and high quality food production.
- Direct overall activities and performance of team members shift‑by‑shift.
- Assist with development of sales and marketing strategies; implement advertising and promotions.
- Support brand sales‑driving initiatives such as promotions, new product introductions, and brand loyalty initiatives.
- Manage efforts to ensure a positive guest and team experience.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of food and beverage orders through various ordering channels (in‑restaurant, to‑go, online, curbside, delivery).
- Maintain and inspect dining room, food receiving, holding, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to; correct unsafe practices or conditions.
- Complete daily paperwork and projects on a timely basis.
- Comply with cash control policies and procedures; ensure all managers, supervisors, and team members comply with cash control policy.
- Drive positive labor results through proactive scheduling and reacting to business trends.
- Control operating costs by instituting awareness through the restaurant.
- Ensure quality recruiting and training of new team members.
- Participate in hiring, training, motivation, and evaluation of team members as directed by supervisor.
- Create positive relationships with team members and managers.
- Minimize turnover by working with management to resolve team member issues.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards, company policies, and procedures during shifts when the Assistant Manager is the supervisor.
- Support and practice an open‑door policy.

- Fluent in English.
