Overview
Sodexo Live! has an exciting opportunity for a Bakery/Pastry Chef Manager who will support a large commissary kitchen operation that delivers thousands of ready‑to‑eat meals to our local clients. This role will oversee production of baked goods/pastries and other food items packed for delivery and distribution in the metro Atlanta area. Sodexo Live! provides hospitality services to airport lounges, stadiums, arenas, convention centers, zoos, museums, and more, creating memorable experiences for people.
Responsibilities- Work a 1pm‑9pm shift.
- Be responsible for menu compliance, baking/cooking, food production, food quality/presentation, and safety/sanitation.
- Ensure Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality, are implemented.
- Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.
- Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards (HACCP).
- Maintain working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems (Excel spreadsheets).
- Direct the activities of 10‑15 associates.
- Oversee administrative duties, including employee schedules, hours and payroll.

- High‑volume bakery/pastry culinary background with the ability to stay current on new culinary trends and delegate confidently.
- Excellent mentoring, leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards.
- Strong coaching skills.
- Passion for food and service.
- Minimum Education Requirement:
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent.
