Diesel Mechanic​/Fleet Technician B

Reyes Fleet Management, 1 of the largest privately held fleets in the U.S.

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B at our Martin Brower facility in East Point, GA.

Prior experience with lift gates, trailers, and reefer units is highly desirable.

Shift options: Tues-Sat 10:30am-7:00pm & Sun-Thurs 3:00pm-11:30pm

Pay: $28.00 - $34.00/hr, based on experience/qualifications

• The Fleet Technician focuses on the preventative maintenance of the fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures to perform repairs as needed.
• You will complete thorough documentation for work orders of repairs and preventative maintenance.
• You will inspect brake systems to ensure that machines are in proper operating condition and make sure that equipment has required licensing and registration.
• You will use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers and perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• You will examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2+ years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Must possess own tools (minimum tool requirement).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles.

• Technical School Certification.
