About the Role

We are seeking a creative and self-driven Multimedia Production Specialist to support the visual storytelling and marketing efforts for two dynamic businesses located side-by-side in East Providence, RI:

• Cheer UP Athletics, a fast-growing competitive cheerleading program with a vibrant culture and active overall Social Media presence.
• LOPCO Contracting, a professional painting and repair firm known for its craftsmanship and community focus.

This role is 80% focused on Cheer UP Athletics and 20% on LOPCO Contracting (though this is certainly subject to change), and is a unique opportunity to shape content for both sports & lifestyle audiences as well as high-end home improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture and edit high-quality Multimedia content across both businesses, including competitions, classes, behind-the-scenes, and project walkthroughs
• Create content for Social Media, You Tube, advertising campaigns, and internal promotional use
• Lay in background music, transitions, and effects that align with brand tone and audience
• Assist in managing and growing the Cheer UP Athletics social channels
• Travel locally and regionally:
• Attend cheer competitions, practices, and community events to film
• Visit LOPCO project sites to capture work-in-progress and client & employee testimonials
• Collaborate directly with the President to conceptualize Multimedia projects that align with company goals
• Organize and maintain a content library for both brands
• Assist with occasional photo shoots or cross-channel content creation as needed
• Develop commercials for both brands that are multimedia-based

Requirements

• Proven experience in Multimedia shooting and editing, preferably with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools
• Strong storytelling skills and a good eye for framing, lighting, and pacing
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and projects across two very different brands
• Experience with Social Media content creation, optimization, and audience engagement strategies is a plus
• Comfort with traveling to events and job sites (travel costs covered)
• Strong understanding of Social Media Multimedia trends (You Tube, Instagram Reels, Tik Tok, etc.)
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated, able to work independently, and have a wide range of working hours
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Bonus Skills

• Motion graphics or basic animation knowledge
• Experience filming live sporting events or instructional/educational content
• Photography and/or drone Multimediagraphy
