Overview: The Behavior Analyst reports to the Chief Psychologist/Senior Psychologist of the Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities Inpatient Program. Supports the treatment team in the assessment of patients’ problematic behaviors, development and implementation of behavior plans, education/support of direct‑care staff regarding behavior plan procedures, maintenance of relevant clinical data, and consultation as needed with clinical team members and parents/caregivers regarding patients’ behavioral profiles and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Performs functional behavioral assessments using evidence‑based tools to select and address targeted behaviors.
- Uses direct (A‑B‑C model, rating scales) and indirect (interviews with caregivers) measures to assess function and develop behavior plans.
- Coordinates behavioral assessments and treatment protocols.
- Analyzes behavioral profiles, conveys function to direct‑care staff, and trains staff in implementation of behavioral intervention procedures.
- Provides consultation to clinical team members and parents/caregivers regarding behavior profiles and efficacious practices.
- Maintains relevant behavioral database and performs additional data analysis (e.g., graphing) upon request.
- Attends treatment team meetings and reports on data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- Oversees purchasing and distribution of support materials used with patients as part of behavioral interventions.
- Supervises the implementation of behavior programs for all patients; does not directly supervise other staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis or a related field.
- BCBA certification or pending certification (must provide evidence within the first year of employment).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Minimum two years’ experience working with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities (autism, intellectual disability) and co‑existing behavioral and psychiatric challenges; preference for prior experience in a mental‑health setting.
Work Environment &
Physical Requirements:
Normal office environment with daily contact to patients in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting.
Pay Range: $63,209.33–$

Work Type: Full‑time, Monday–Friday, Day shift, 8 hours per day.
