- Processes all payroll associated with company business in a timely manner, keeps team member records up to date, and provides daily labor reports to the Executive Director.
- Follows and submits all tasks related to month‑end closing to the management company promptly, and assists in orienting new residents while ensuring all signatures are obtained on rental agreements prior to residency.
- Keeps the Executive Director abreast of any late resident payments in accordance with company policies, provides proper documentation to the management company, and issues corresponding notices to those who are late in paying for services rendered.
- Works closely with the Executive Director on proper coding of invoices and maintaining up‑to‑date declining balances, and makes weekly submittals to the management company in line with company policies on payables.
- Oversees the new hire process, including proper documentation of I‑9s, pre‑employment screenings, reference checks, and ensures all required forms are signed and properly filed.
- Maintains resident and personnel files in compliance with State and Federal laws.
- Collaborates with the People Services team to ensure HR, payroll, benefits, recruiting, and training initiatives are executed effectively.
- Works in a safe manner and ensures team members under their supervision also work safely; manages workplace injuries as required, assisting the Executive Director with investigations, return‑to‑work processes, and communications with care providers and the management company.
- Fosters teamwork with co‑workers, shows initiative in overcoming obstacles, assists others beyond job responsibilities, and has a positive impact on co‑workers, residents, and visitors.
- Performs other duties as assigned or needed.
