Optics Store Manager; Retail

Location: East Region – Pasir Ris
Salary: Up to $3,800/month

• Manage the daily operations of the retail store
  , including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness and organisation.
• Ensure smooth store operations while adhering to company policies, procedures, and service standards.
• Monitor stock availability, conduct inventory checks, and support effective inventory management.

• Drive store sales performance by achieving sales targets and implementing strategies to improve revenue growth.
• Analyse sales performance data, identify areas of improvement, and implement initiatives to maximise sales opportunities.
• Monitor store expenses and recommend cost-control measures to enhance profitability.

• Lead, coach, and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service.
• Conduct staff training, provide performance feedback, and support employee development.
• Manage manpower planning, staff scheduling, and daily team operations.

• Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Build strong customer relationships and enhance customer loyalty through excellent service.

• Oversee product displays, visual merchandising, and store presentation according to company guidelines.
• Ensure the store environment remains organised, attractive, and aligned with brand standards to maximise sales opportunities.

• Support the implementation of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and in-store initiatives.
• Monitor customer feedback and provide insights to management to improve store performance.

• Ensure compliance with store safety, security, and loss prevention procedures

• Implement measures to minimise stock loss and safeguard company assets.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and vendors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth communication and efficient store operations.

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification
  ;
  Diploma/Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of retail experience
  , with at least 3 years of experience managing a retail store
  .
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets, managing KPIs, and driving store performance
  .
• Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory management, manpower planning, and profitability management
  .
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with experience coaching and developing retail teams.
• Good organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Willing to work retail shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays
  .

Preferred Experience:

• Candidates with experience in optical retail, eyewear, luxury retail, fashion retail, or lifestyle retail will have an advantage.
