• Cook and prepare food to order, following Chipotle’s kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste, inventory levels, and resolve quality issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked kitchen; sanitize all surfaces and equipment.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is in good repair and report malfunctions.
• Promote safety practices to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Lead by example, supporting crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with front‑of‑house staff and customers to ensure a great service experience.
• Complete required documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and inventory rotation logs.

• Understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Proficiency in speaking, writing, and understanding the primary language(s) of the work location.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior restaurant or food‑service experience.
