• In close collaboration with the Director, Program Coordinators and Academic Services Coordinator, the Veterans Participant Service Coordinator conducts initial assessments with veteran clients to determine academic and personal needs, academic and personal goals, develop IEP (Individual Education Plans), and move veteran clients through an array of available services.
• Services may include, but are not limited to, academic advisement, testing, tutorials (online and in‑person), counseling through partner agencies, workshops, and campus resources.

United States Military Veteran (Provide DD214 in attachments.)

• Bachelor's Degree
• Comfortable working with educational software, Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.
• Extensive knowledge of veterans services and social service organizations within six‑county area.
• Extensive knowledge of veterans benefits and entitlements.
• Effective communicator.
• Experience working with diverse populations.
• Experience working with veterans is highly desirable.
• Skill in exercising appropriate judgement and decision making.
• Demonstrated time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
