Location: East St. Louis
I'm partnering with a well-established, vertically integrated swine production organization that is adding a Senior Financial Analyst to the team due to an internal promotion—an excellent example of their strong commitment to developing and advancing talent from within.

What You'll Be DoingAs a Senior Financial Analyst, you'll serve as a trusted business partner to regional and operational leadership, helping drive performance through financial insight and data‑driven decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities Include- Supporting regional profit and loss performance through farm‑level and regional financial statements, cost reporting, metrics, trend analysis, and production data
- Acting as a financial advisor to regional leaders by identifying opportunities, solving business challenges, and influencing outcomes
- Helping operations achieve performance goals related to people, pigs, and cost through KPI tracking, data analysis, and actionable insights
- Ensuring strong internal controls, sound business processes, and best‑in‑class inventory management practices in partnership with centralized support teams
- Analyzing capital investments and divestitures to ensure appropriate ROI
- Leading the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting for the region
- Providing financial analysis for site performance, capital projects, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic initiatives
- Building credibility and strong working relationships across departments to support collaboration and alignment
- Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred)
- 5+ years of relevant financial analysis, accounting, or operational finance experience
- CPA and/or MBA/Master's degree a plus
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, metrics, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Advanced financial planning, analysis, and modeling skills (including IRR and NPV analysis)
- High proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with inventory management and cost analysis
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and tell a compelling business story with data
- Proven ability to analyze complex problems, think strategically, and make sound business decisions
- Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and business judgment
- Targeted salary range: $80,000‑$100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
