This franchisee owns a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products, for example, when running the restaurant. However, the franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from McDonald’s USA. If you are hired for this posting, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA.

All employment matters, including hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling, are handled by the franchisee.

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets McDonald’s critical customer standards for Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with leadership to set the restaurant’s goals and creates a plan to achieve them. The role involves leading a team of Department Managers, setting their goals, coaching and improving department performance, and hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers.

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations. A background in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
