Job Overview
Garda World Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer to work at East St. Louis, IL. The position is part‑time on the 2nd Shift, Saturday through Sunday, 1:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Your role will focus on customer service, access control, patrols, and incident response in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and more.

- Provide customer service duties such as welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors.
- Manage access control.
- Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks.
- Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
- Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
- Answer questions in person or by phone.
- Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Passed extensive screening process.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic phone and computer skills.
- Security, military, or law enforcement experience – even better.
- State license if required.
Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screening after an offer of employment is extended.
