Day Camp Assistant Counselor - Christian Day Camp
Day Camp Assistant Counselor roles at Pinebrook Day Camp involve sharing Christ and building relationships with campers in your group. Pay ranges from $320/week for assistant counselors up to $500/week for senior counselors (ages 18+). Room and board are provided. Assistant camp counselors (starting at age 17) gain experience working with campers with guidance from senior counselors and camp leadership. Senior camp counselors (starting at age 18) lead small groups of campers with support from camp leadership and assistant counselors.
Pinebrook Day Camp provides a fun and caring place for campers ages 5-15 throughout the summer. Camp counselors have a profound impact on each camper s experience and help make camp possible. Many campers hear about Jesus for the first time at Day Camp, and counselors have a front-row seat to see kids grow in their faith journey as they learn more about God throughout the summer.
Each summer we look for individuals who are responsible, fun, and have a desire to point people towards Christ. You ll be working with an amazing summer team as well as sharing the gospel with campers and doing life in community.
A Day in Life at Camp
- Start each day with a time of worship and a brief Bible story/study

Salary: $320 per week
Responsibilities and Qualifications- Lead and supervise campers in a safe, engaging environment
- Model and share Christian faith and values with campers
- Collaborate with senior counselors and camp leadership
- Provide support to fellow counselors and contribute to a positive team dynamic
- Must be authorized to work in the US; no sponsorship available for international employees or volunteers
- Background clearance requirements: FBI Criminal Background fingerprint clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, and PA Criminal History Clearance (employer-paid)
- At the employer s expense, all hires are contingent upon completion of required background clearances
